From April 2013 the Government is going to stop issuing Crisis Loans and other discretionary payments that used to be administered by the Social Fund. The shortfall in service is supposed to be picked up by Local Authrities and charities in, and the Government has put aside a put of money worth over £100 Million pounds to facilitate this.

As the centralised Social Fund is about to be disbaned, we have taken it up on ourselves to seek and publish all of the telephon enumbers and contact address’s of local authority ( i.e council) and charitable/voluntary organisations that may be able to offer help in each area of the UK.

Please find a list below giving contact details of organisations in your area, and also please feel free to comment on pages when you have been able to find other help yourself, so that we can update the site and make sure that others are able to find the help that they need when in Crisis.
